Position Overview:
We are seeking a Contract Clinical Therapist to join our team at Secure Base Therapy, PLLC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients dealing with a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will be experienced, compassionate, and able to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to ethical and professional standards. This is a contract position with flexible hours, with the opportunity to build a caseload based on availability and client need.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, and others.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
Maintain confidential and accurate case notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Establish a strong therapeutic alliance with clients to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Participate in regular case consultation meetings and collaborate with other members of the team as needed.
Keep up-to-date with relevant clinical training and certifications.
Provide crisis intervention and support for clients as necessary.
Engage in professional development and seek out supervision as required for licensure.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
Current, valid Montana State license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or similar licensure, or Social Work Licensure Candidate (SWLC).
A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
Background check and professional references required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a variety of client populations (children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families).
Specialization in trauma, anxiety, depression, or other common mental health concerns.
Compensation:
Percentage of money you make based on a therapy rate that you set.
Flexible schedule with the ability to set your own hours.

Independent Contractor Structure
Client Management:
Use Simple Practice system for case management, including scheduling, case notes, and treatment plans.Caseload Development:
Build and maintain a caseload of at least 10 clients per week. You will receive a 90-day grace period to ramp up your client base from the start of the contract.Supervision & Support:
Receive supervision and testing aid as you prepare for your licensing exam.
Once licensed, continue to receive support and mentorship as you grow in your career.Client Outreach:
While we will send clients your way, you are encouraged to do your own outreach to bring in additional clients to expand your practice.
Compensation Structure:
For 1-10 clients per week: You will receive 40% of the client income you bring in.
For 11+ clients per week: Your commission increases to 50%.
LCSW Advantage: Once you receive your LCSW, you can continue in the role and your commission will increase to 55-75%, depending on performance and the number of clients you see.
Income Potential:
You are eligible to start earning when your clients' insurance is paid out (generally 1-3mo). With an increased caseload, your earning potential grows significantly.
Contract Details:
Tax Structure: This position is a 1099 contract role, meaning you will be responsible for your own taxes.
Office Costs: You are responsible for securing and paying for your own office space, if desired.
